About IABAS

WE ARE ALL ABOUT INDIVIDUALIZING CARE

IABAS for Families (Individualized ABA Services for Families), established in May 2019, provides ABA (applied behavior analysis) services to patients ages 1 through 30.

At IABAS for Families, we want families involved in every aspect of the treatment we provide their loved ones. We focus on individualized care for our patients, considering that religion, culture, beliefs, and ethnic customs can influence stakeholders’ involvement in ABA services and their understanding of ABA concepts, leading to how involved they are in consistently implementing evidence-based strategies. At IABAS, we aim to make individualized treatment plans for our patients that are agreed upon by stakeholders, allowing them to be involved, learn, and consistently implement evidence-based strategies taught in a family training session with our clinicians. With training and understanding of factors contributing to stakeholder involvement, IABAS for Families aims to train families to fade out one-to-one in-home ABA sessions over time.

OUR MISSION

Our mission at IABAS for Families is to provide evidence-based ABA services to individuals from infancy to adulthood with care, understanding, and working with each family to individualize our program to ensure that we can achieve the best clinical outcome and eventually fade out our services.

As we work with patients, we include family members in every step of the process, from the initial assessment to discharge from services. Our goal with service delivery is to ensure that all stakeholders in the individual’s environment learn to implement evidence-based skills with the individual outside of ABA sessions from IABAS for Families to ensure consistency and generalization of skills. In addition, IABAS for Families focuses on empowering parents and caregivers to learn ABA interventions that can eventually lead to the fading out of in-home one-to-one ABA services and transition to parent-led services with the individual.

At IABAS for Families, we pride ourselves on being true to our values and providing evidence-based services with ongoing analysis, review, and modifications to clinical programs. Doing so allows us to ensure that we provide individualized care to each individual and the family we serve. As a company, we firmly believe everyone should be treated with respect and have access to high-quality, evidence-based ABA services.

Goal of IABAS

The goal of IABAS for Families is to work with families on creating individualized plans for each client, considering the resources available to the family, including the time that the family can spend on treatment, and addressing other factors such as language requirements and cultural considerations. IABAS for Families ensures that families can have translators available promptly and as needed.

The goal of IABAS for Families is to support clients in their homes with one-to-one ABA services, taking into consideration social significant goals/ barriers, and tailoring programs that do not just work for the treatment team to implement but for the family to implement outside of ABA sessions.
